Marketing and Communications Intern
Internship Time Frame: 3 months- Spring Semester
Location: St. Petersburg, Florida- Hybrid
Department: Marketing and Communications
As a Marketing and Communications Intern, you will be responsible for generating articles, blogs, eBooks, and other content that are targeted at PVM’s specific buyer personas. You will work closely with the Marketing and Communications Lead to identify topics and manage PVM’s content schedule. You will be responsible for interviewing internal subject matter experts and producing a steady stream of content. This role is suited well to a current journalism student, and has the potential to become a permanent, full-time role at the end of the semester.
Responsibilities:
• Partner closely with Marketing and Communications lead to identify content topics and develop content schedule
• Produce articles, blogs, eBooks and more on a steady cadence
• Interview PVM subject matter experts and conduct research on content topics
• Learn about and apply content marketing best practices through provided trainings and resources
Requirements:
One of these must apply:
• Recently graduated with bachelor’s degree or currently enrolled in 4th year at an accredited college or university in journalism, communications, or related field of study
• Professional in the early stages of their career seeking On the Job Experience (OJT)
Qualifications:
Some professional writing experience and/or classroom experience preferred, for example:
• Student newspaper experience
• Prior writing-focused internships
• Interviewing/writing experience through classwork

Salary: $20/hr
